What is your hair saying about you ?

Being that humans are visual creatures, We all have certain ideas of who people are when we look at them . But what is our hair saying about who we are ? And is that really what we want it to say ? Here are a few tips for speaking with your hair ;

One length haircuts give of a structured and serious vibe , mostly found in the workplace and in places of power such as politics and doctors offices .

Layers cuts will say more I'm outgoing and young willing to try new things always opt for structure in the layers , they have a good base for the layers to flow on top of otherwise it will get too wispy and just look tattered .

Bold color is a way of gaining significance and saying "LOOK AT ME !"

Where as soft ombré says I just really don't care so much.

Whatever you choose one single tone of color is more conservative .

And can sometimes be simple and beautiful if it has lots of shine .

Curly hair is more playful because of all of its movement and depth where as straight and sleek can be seductive with a lot of structure .

anyway you wear your hair , my recommendation is try to go for a bit of versatility, where you can wear your hair in different ways to match your mood or at least the mood you want to project . Remember you are a complex being with constant changing moods and attitudes and wether or not you want it to you hair speaks !!

Our philosophy

Over the decades I’ve been privileged enough by so many generous people around the globe that have allowed me to service their hair. I have developed my own philosophy and approach , when it comes to working one on one with someone curating their look and being apart of the creation of their identity in the world. I have come to believe that hair is not only about how we look on the outside , but as well as a window into who we are as people in the inside. We see this when someone has a certain hairstyle that moves us in an emotional way , and when we see them they represent to us an archetype of some kind. Maybe the temptress , or the seductress of a strong healthy shiny bob, or perhaps the carefree spirit of curls and or a fun sexy shag cut . Our hair speaks volumes even before we open our mouths or have a chance to communicate verbally . This is why i believe getting to really know a client before we start working together is extremely important . The very first meeting is a kind of “first date “ we tell each other what we think the other really wants to hear . I feel that we should try and be more open and vulnerable to each other in order to best serve the purpose of dually creating a visual identity synergistically for you.
